Food
Restrictions put in place by the state have affected the way CCACS distributes food to families looking for assistance. We have set up a “drive-thru” that limits your interaction with the CCACS staff. Please enter the CCACS parking lot from Fourth Plain Blvd. A staff member will come to your window and ask for your identification and number of members in your family. A pre-made box of foodstuffs will be brought to your vehicle and placed where you want it. There may be times when we have extra items available and you will be asked if you would like these added to your box. As always, if you have special dietary requirements, please let the staff member know and we will attempt to cater to your need.
Please bear with us as we are all trying to do the best under the requirements placed on us to remain open and assist your needs!
To receive assistance:
- All members of a household that are 18 years of age and older must have identification.
- Must present proof of residence in Clark County
Food
CCACS is set up like a small self-serve grocery store. When families check in, they are given a shopping list that provides food for a minimum of three days for the number of members in their household. The Center typically has a variety of canned, bagged, day-old and fresh food items. Clients shop for the items that they desire. If you or a family member have special dietary requirements, please let the Center volunteers know and every attempt will be made to provide for those needs. Due to requirements placed on the Center by the organizations that provide us with food, you may be limited to the amount or types of food that you can receive if you come in more than once a month. This will be explained when you first check in.

Clothes
CCACS has a variety of “gently used” shoes and clothing for men, women and children. Other non-clothing items such as blankets and diapers are provided to clients that have an apparent need for these items. Please let one of the Center volunteers know your specific needs and every attempt will be made to provide for those needs.
